I adore playing slot machines, so I decid- ed to create my own site with such games where people may play for free. It is a pretty fresh site. How did you become involved in the industry? My friend works in the indus- try, so he told me about it and I tried my fortune. How long did it take for you to start earn- ing money? Well, my site was created not for earning money but for people. First of all, it is my hobby. However, it earns some money. Are you a one-person shop or are you part of a larger organization? I am a one- person shop. Describe your work environment. Do you work from home or in an office? How of- ten do you get to see and interact with other people in the industry? I work from home. Speaking about other people in the industry, I don’t search for any sug- gestions from others. I trust only myself. What traits do you look for in an affili- ate manager? How about in an affiliate program? I try to suggest only the best for my visitors. What’s your preferred method of com- munication with affiliate managers? Do you like to talk on the phone, by e-mail or via Skype? I prefer to talk via e-mail and Skype. What prompted you to join the GPWA? How has it helped you? I found it by myself. Sometimes I can find really inter- esting threads that help me to improve my knowledge. What do you like about the industry? The main advantage is that I workwhen I want. If you could change one thing about the industry, what would it be? Ohh . . . I re- ally don’t know. I think that the industry is a mechanism that we can’t change. What do your family and friends think of your work as an affiliate? It is my own deal and I don’t talk about it with my family. Do you gamble online? If so, what do you play? Yeah, I adore online slots. My favor- ite providers are Novomatic and NetEnt. How long do you give yourself for an- swering e-mail? I try to answer within 24 hours. How do you manage your “to-do” lists? Do you use any special software to help you out? I have my own to-do list but the main goal is to improve my sites for visitors. How much time do you devote to SEO and/or social networking in order to drive more traffic to your sites? It is a very difficult question. I am a qualitative SEO guy, so it may take one hour or six hours for one day. What’s the most difficult thing about running your sites? Actually, there is no easy thing, but this is why I love it. What’s the best thing about running your sites? I adore creating unique sites. I like to see how they grow. Word on the street is that you like a game of pickup basketball. How long have you been playing? I have been play- ing more than five years. I just love it. It is in my blood. What do you do to stay in shape – both physically and mentally? I try to be ac- tive, follow my healthy diet and be to- bacco free. If someone were visiting you, what’s the one place you’d definitely take them to see? Actually, some friends are going to be visiting me. So, I will show them my city. They are crazy about Berlin. When you need to get as far away from work as possible, where do you go? I pre- fer to watch movies. It helps me to relax after a hard workday. What’s your all-time favorite movie? I am a cinema addict, but if I have to point to one film, let it be The Crow . I just adore it. If you could invite any five people, living or dead, to dinner, who would they be? Edgar Allan Poe, Nikolai Gogol, Leonardo da Vinci, Salvador Dali and Che Guevara. I guess it would be a cool get-together.
