But daily fantasy isn’t beaten yet. In addition to recently reentering New York, it’s now available in three European countries. DraftKings launched in the United Kingdom in February, and FanDuel launched its U.K. soccer product in August. Also in August, Winamax launched its first daily fantasy game in France. In Italy, SNAI and Mondogoal both offer daily fantasy games. And Malta expects to have a DFS license available by the end of the year. So, with the American football season, the English Premier League and the French Ligue 1 soccer season all upon us, here’s a snapshot of where you can play DFS in a le- gal, regulated environment; where it’s banned; and where things are simply undecided.
