Mr Green offers up to 45% in revenue share with no quota and no negative carryover. How did you decide on this commission model? Our ladder model of 25% - 45% revenue share was established long before I arrived in M r Green, but it is a model I have great confidence in, which i s why we haven’t changed it. For many of our partners, they love the goal aspect of achieving the 45%. Others prefer a more static model, and they are of course accommodated. Every affiliate is individual, and so are deal decisions. We are about fostering long-term relationships, and we will alway s work to make the best deals that mean both sides are benefiting . The GDPR’s new rules have recently gone into effect . How does Mr Green Affiliate Program work with affil- iates to help ensure compliance? We work to stay within the law in all cases, so we have had a long year of preparing to make sure we are GDPR-compliant. What do you like about the industry? The community , the energy, the way we all (particularly the affiliate community ) come together when we need to! I found this particularly true when I worked on the bingo side a few years back. From my first conference, I felt like I was welcomed into this giant, fun community of people who taught me, helped me and debated with me, and I still hold many of them as dear friends. Also, I love that fact that more goes on than your average soap opera! There’s never a week without new things happening . Who needs TV when you work in the most exciting industry in the world? What advice would you give to an iGaming affiliate trying to break into the industry? In the words of Britney Spears, You Better Work Bitch! There has never been more competition. The affiliates tha t I’ve seen grow from a small idea to something large have been the ones who work harder than you can imagine. However , they also work smart. Keep learning and innovating, as the industry goalposts are always moving. Don’t discount the importance of having a strong brand idea or niche that you focus on, either. The affiliates that stand ou t in my mind are not doing the same things as everyone else. Do you often network or attend affiliate events? I live in Malta and believe me, I’m not exaggerating when I say every day is a networking opportunity! It’s a hugely exciting hub to be in with so many like-minded people and startup s everywhere you look. Aside from that, we have a lot of official events on the island that I attend frequently. I’m a long-term attendee of LAC, AAC , 67 W W W . G P W A T I M E S . O R G
