BY NICK GARNER The most useful set of marketing rules I’ve ever come across was in a book called The 22 Immutable Laws of Marketing , written by Al Ries and Jack Trout way back in 1993. When I’ve put these rules forward to people I’m work- ing with, or to check things for my own projects, everything makes more sense. I’m able to prioritize and move forward. Over the years, I have enjoyed a successful career as an affiliate, launched a white-label online casino and worked as a strategic consultant for both affiliates and operators. I’ve applied these laws to many business scenarios, and they’ve always come good for me. Here, I have adjusted the laws from the book to focus on affiliate marketing.
