How long did it take you to earn your first commission? Comments from GPWA members: GPWA MEMBER POLL Securing that first commission is something every affiliate remembers. Whether the amount was minimal or significant, cashing a commission check for the first time is a momentous moment for a webmaster – especially if it takes an inordinate amount of time to happen. Recently on the GPWA Forums, one of our new members, Car- dy007, inquired about how long he should expect it to take to start earning. As seen in the results below, a plurality (44.4%) said that it took between three and six months. For others it was a much shorter time period, while some had to plug away for over a year. All who responded, however, provided some much-need- ed words of encouragement for their fellow member. drifter8 NON-SPONSOR AFFILIATE PROGRAM It took me between seven and 10 months to earn my first commission.
