While I think Gutenberg is a step in the right direction and will open up a lot of possibilities down the road, it’s still buggy, a bit clumsy to use, and – most importantly – it simply doesn’t work on some websites, namely, pretty much every website that uses a theme that does some custom page building. In those cases, you must install the Classic Editor. Some people install it just because they hate Gutenberg, and some install it only when they need to. In any case, Classic Editor is a quality plugin that takes you back to what WordPress looked like for almost 15 years. But now you can also integrate it with the Gutenberg editor and add the Classic Paragraph block and the Hybrid Mode, so it’s a good choice for people who sometimes need access to classic stuff. If you want it to be permanent, install Classic Editor instead. But with or without Classic Editor, TinyMCE Advanced will make your content production easier. WORDPRESS PLUGINS TO THE RESCUE!
