L ittle did we know it at the time, but iGB Affil- iate London and ICE London may have been the last “normal” gaming conferences we are going to attend for some time. Since the curtains closed on the two events that annually kick off the new year for our industry, we have been in the midst of a pandemic of epic propor- tions that has changed the world dramatically. So much so that since we left London, most conferences on all four corners of the world have either been can- celled, postponed or re-invented as a virtual event. So, as we wait and wonder when (or if) we will all congregate again in the same location for busy days chock full of new business meetings, learning ses- sions, trips around the exhibition floor, networking over cocktails, meeting new friends and catching up with old acquaintances, let’s take a pictorial look ba ck at our time in London way back in February, when the term “social distancing” was still foreign to us al l.
