In addition to having essential industry data at your fingertips, you can also filter it into custom rankings based on a number of factors. For example, in this issue we list the global rankings for iGaming sites from different verticals, comparing where they ranked in January-February 2020, before the pandemic hit, to April-May 2020, after COVID-19 wreaked havoc. The rankings are based on the weighted power mean of a variety of independent and multi-sourced traffic-based statistics, such as number of visitors, visits and page views and total estimated time spent on a site by all visitors. Not surprisingly, the pandemic caused a number of dramatic shifts. For casinos, every site in the top 20 from April and May improved its ranking due to increased demand and traffic, andmany of themmoved up considerably. The same can be said for financial sites. With an unpredictable and fluid global market reacting to the pandemic, these sites also experienced a sizable upturn. Predictably, it was a similar story for online poker, with 19 of the top 20 sites climbing the charts as brick-and-mortar poker rooms closed, and bingo, to a lesser extent. Conversely, as the sports world came to a near halt all over the world, sports betting sites suffered. One benefactor in this space, however, was horse and dog racing as sites like TVG, an online horse and greyhound racing betting business that surged 39 spots into the top 20. These ranking changes are just a small example of the information that can be accessed for free by our private members and sponsors.
