39 G P W A t i m e s . o r g The iGaming industry welcomed back a sense of normalcy as ICE London and iGB Affiliate London returned to their customary spots on the calendar in the month of February in 2023 and the result was, well, downright epic. The events were cancelled in 2021 due to COVID-19 and scaled back versions were held in April last year. The pent-up demand after two years of apprehension and uncertainty was clearly evident as both events drew record-breaking crowds this year. As for iGB Affiliate specifically, the number of unique show visitors totaled 5,763, representing a 40% increase from April 2022 and a 19% uptick from the last pre-COVID show in 2020. What’s more, a record 101 different countries were represented, the first time that number has reached triple figures, while 24% of attendees were making their first appearance at iGB Affiliate London, with 1 in 10 affiliate visitors new to gambling. “iGB Affiliate London 2023 was physically the largest on record and the continued demand for space from both new and existing exhibitors underlines the fact that the event is regarded by our stakeholders as being their flagship event,” said Naomi Barton, Clarion Events Portfolio Director. With so many new and old faces in attendance, there was plenty of action to capture, from the exhibition floor to the networking parties, which were highlighted by the SBC’s London Baby 2023, held at the staggering Natural History Museum (pictured here), and the return of the Fire & Ice extravaganza, which celebrated its 20th anniversary in grand fashion. After flipping through the following pages, we’re pretty certain you’ll agree that NOW is the time to block off your schedule and book your trip to London for February 2024. We look forward to seeing you there! iGB Affiliate London
