By the time the first crowds filtered through the doors, it was clear the 2025 edition, held 16-18 September, had outgrown every expectation. More than 30,000 delegates from 150 countries made the trip for what turned out to be the event’s biggest and most international edition yet. FIL and the MEO Arena were packed from the moment doors opened, with operators, suppliers, affiliates, regulators, media and sports figures filling every corner of the 135,000 square meters of exhibition and conference space. From the busy expo floor to the late-night parties, there was no shortage of energy. Newcomers mixed with longtime regulars, worldclass speakers drew standing-room crowds, and the Legends Charity Game gave the week a dose of star power rarely seen at an industry show. As SBC CEO and Founder Rasmus Sojmark put it, “The event continues to grow not just in size but in impact, bringing the global industry together for meaningful conversations, new partnerships, and memorable experiences.” If you were in Lisbon, you already know how full the week felt.
