We have really good relationships with our partners and they are always eager to get more exposure fromourwebsites. What traits do you look for in an affili- ate manager? How about in an affiliate program? Communication is most im- portant from an affiliate manager, along with eagerness to supply promotional materials and exclusive bonus offers, etc. From the affiliate program it’s all about honesty, being grateful for the revenue we bring them and being compensated for our performance. What’s your preferred method of com- munication with affiliate managers? Do you like to talk on the phone, by e-mail or via Skype? I think I prefer e-mail as my method of communication as the affiliate managers really like to put on the pressure for better positioning throughSkype. What prompted you to join the GPWA? How has it helped you? I joined the GPWAbecause it isanabundant sourceof information. It’swhere I gobeforeadding any partners. I also automatically get the latest content through liking theGPWA’s Facebook page, which has helpedme the most. What do you like about the industry? I think it’s a really fun industry. There is never a dull moment. Lots to learn and know. I just love it!! Have you attended any online gambling conferences? My brother is the one who attends all the conferences. I get all the updates fromhim. If you could change one thing about the industry, what would it be? For the bad operators to be more honest. This would bringonlinegaming toawholenew level. What do you do to stay in shape – both physically and mentally? I do yoga and/ or visit thegymfivedays aweek. It’snice to get out when you work from home. I also meditate twice daily to keep in mental shape. You’ve posted that you have a horse and have been riding for over 30 years. Tell us about the horse and alsowhat kindof riding you like to do. I have a 29-year-old Anglo-Arabgelding. I have hadhimnow for 16 years and he is the love of my life. I was a hunter jumper inmy early years and used to compete. Now I just ride for pleasure. What’s the best part about living in British Columbia? Canada is really a peaceful and beautiful country to live in and British Columbia happens to be the warmest province, soverymildwinters. If someone were visiting you, what’s the one place you’d definitely take them to see? TheCapilanoSuspensionBridge. It’s one of themost visited tourist attractions inVancouver. Theview is just amazing. When you need to get as far away from work as possible, where do you go? The barn, of course. Beingwithall theanimals puts things back intoperspective forme. What’syour favoritevacationspot? Maui. I love the climate andpeople. What’s your all-time favorite movie? The Notebook . It’s such an amazing love story.
