stay motivated? NOTE: Thread was edited for length and clarity. I t doesn’t matter who you are, where you live, or how successful you have been — oftentimes, getting and remaining motivated for work can be a problem. This can be a particular challenge for iGaming af- filiates, who typically work for themselves out of a home office, where diversions are commonplace, providing plen- ty of reasons NOT to check items off your daily punch list. The good news? You are not alone. In fact, in a recent thread on the GPWA Forums, the subject of motivation was discussed at length. While most everybody admitted they go through periods in which inspiration and energy levels are low and the distraction level is high, everyone also had useful suggestions on how to combat the problem. Excerpts from the thread are presented in the following pages. To read the entire conversation, visit gpwa.org/408 . FROM THE FORUMS How do you #2 vtyunby65 23 May 2018, 12:02 a.m. Private Member There are many I can suggest, but the most important ones include: 1. Recognizing hard and great work. 2. Setting small but achievable and measurable goals. 3. Always feeling good about yourself and those who work closely with you, and always congratulating yourself whenever something good is achieved. 4. Staying positive about things, no matter the situation. 5. Keeping yourself concentrated on the goal at hand (money, ultimately) and never giving up on it. 6. Taking regular breaks from work so as to freshen up and feel strong enough to go back to the tasks at hand. 7. Picturing the big picture of what you would like to attain, and sharing positive outcomes with your colleagues. 8. Encouraging great teamwork among your work colleagues. 9. Rewarding yourself and your colleagues every time something major is accomplished. 10. Lastly, having a little fun every now and then instead of constantly working too hard all the time. “ Reply With Quote #3 Mattbar 23 May 2018, 1:23 p.m. Private Member Earning money is a quite a good motivator for me. “ Reply With Quote #1 matthewt 22 May 2018, 7:52 p.m. Public Member Anyone have good tips on increasing work motivation for a gambling webmaster?
