If you are working for yourself full-time and you can compare how it was working for someone else in a dead-end job as a wage slave, you shouldn’t have daily motivational problems. THEN GET RICHER Once you realize the first million won’t do, there are always plenty of nice things to buy, like houses, cars, trinkets, travel experiences. So the next three to five years should be easy enough to motivate yourself with personal financial targets and prize awards (perhaps 10-20% of profits spent on nice-to- have things). Once you have earned enough to mean that you (and your significant other) no longer HAVE to work — then celebrate that achievement. Less than 1% of the 1% get to this stage of financial freedom. BEYOND Of course, if you are past that phase, if you’ve already made enough money to retire or live comfortably, then it IS harder to remain motivated, because if we are honest, our affiliate endeavors are like 99.9% of human activity . . . completely pointless. Now, it’s time to sit back, coast or perhaps find people to help work in the business and do the bits that you don’t want to, so that #6 Triple7 23 May 2018, 3:01 p.m. Public Member Making money is the best motivator for most people, although it’s nonchalant when you’re doing so. It could also help to have realistic goals with your projects in combination with realistic planning. It’s better to have an efficient and effective working session of eight hours than to just sit behind your screen for 16 hours. I am more productive if I have a plan for the day than when I do not. Also, sometimes it’s also to keep with the projects you’re currently working on, instead of starting up another project. Better do two things right than three things not even half right. It’s also important to get enough sleep, eat healthy, and have a good working place. It’s nice to sit in the sun and work, but for me it’s not very efficient. “ Reply With Quote If you are working for yourself full-time and you can compare how it was working for someone else in a dead-end job as a wage slave, you shouldn’t have daily motivational problems . 42 G P W A t i m e s . o r g
