71 G P W A t i m e s . o r g The audience is also changing. The industry will rebound in innovation as more millennials grow interested in online gambling. Let’s hope that in five years we are not too old for this (laughs) . If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be? More responsibility for development of those who need our help. We have the power to do good. What’s the office culture like at N1 Partners? N1 Partners is a moving caravan! We all work in different places of the world, hold regular weekly and daily meet- ings, and meet at industry events. We are a remote but united team! If you could go anywhere on vacation, where would you go? Las Vegas, to breathe the spirit of boxing and gam- bling history. What was the last book you read? Gipsy Code , by Boban Simic and Harald Pia. Do you prefer surfing the web via desktop, laptop, mobile phone or tablet? Mobile phone. What’s your favorite movie? The Wild Bunch , by Sam Peckinpah. If you could have dinner with three people, living or dead, who would they be? Leonardo da Vinci, Vincent Van Gogh, Maria Florides. Name one thing that people reading this magazine don’t know about you. You’ll have to contact me and find out. Do you often network or attend affiliate events? Yes, personal relationships are most important for trust and the main source of our success. We attend all the main industry events like LAC, iGB Live and SiGMA. How does N1 Partners work to retain players sent by affiliates? We offer players regular bonuses, free spins and cash back; hold seasonal and regular events (tournaments, lotteries, game providers campaigns); offer loyalty programs; and help convert players with e-mail and SMS marketing, as well as push notifications. We work with great analytical software and advanced automated player segmentation that allow us to personalize offers to specific groups of players and helps us forecast and analyze player behaviors. We have a dedicated VIP department that focuses on high rollers and whales and turns potential VIP players into real ones. We are constantly on the lookout for new design and development trends, trying to improve our websites’ experience for players. What would be your advice to an affiliate just getting started in the business? Believe in yourself, stay yourself and take care of the players. Do you gamble yourself? No. Where do you think the industry will be in the next five years? Five years ago, everyone was obsessed with the idea that mobile, VR and bitcoin were the future of the online gambling industry. Well, the future’s here, and the only thing that hasn’t kicked in yet is VR. And I don’t think it will (laughs) . Instead, big data and AI will definitely shape the future for iGa- ming operators and will be the keys to product personalization. We are also heading to an even more regulated market, with more and more countries introducing national regulation of online gambling.
