Tell us about your professional background. How did you make your way into the iGaming industry? Before the iGaming industry I was a salesperson and that was actually the reason I moved toMalta back in 2008. And, as you know, inMalta everything is about iGaming, so that came naturally into my life as most of my friends and people I met were from the business. I then started doing iGaming marketing and then started with affiliation. You have made the move from affiliate to the affiliate manager side of the business. Was that a big adjust- ment? The biggest difference, I would say, is that now I am the one that has to assist affiliates and I am not getting spoiled by the operators. But in general, I would say it´s pretty much the same kind of work when it comes to working with people and closing deals. How much has your past experience as an affiliate helped you in your current position? I would say a great deal. I feel after all those years as an affiliate encountering frustrating situations with affiliate managers, it makes me more understanding towards the affiliates’ feelings in certain situations and I think I have more empathy for them than an affiliate manager without my experience would have. Usually when I tell my affiliates about my experience, we have a much closer relationship and better communication.
