Where do you think the industry will be in the next five years? I think it will be much more focused on payment methods like crypto and also VR will be a big thing as I think it is going to be more of a social thing to play online than what it is now. It will be closer to reality where people can socialize and play together on a whole other level. If you could change anything about the industry, what would it be? I would love to clean it up from all the shady people and scammers. I’m super tired of being approached daily by people that sound super serious and good, but it always shows in the end that they are just trying to make a quick buck. They don’t seem to care that they are wasting loads of valuable time for guys like us that work our asses off to make our business great and profitable. Tell us about your typical workday. Usually I wake up pretty early and take my daily morning walk next to the ocean to wake up and get my brain to function. Then it’s back home for breakfast in front of the laptop while checking mail. Then I start up Skype and the daily work will be in full swing with e-mails, Skype conversations, analyzing new sites and making sure all is running smooth with my affiliates. After a few hours of work, I usually combine lunch with going to the gym and then I go back to the desk where I usually sit and work until late. What’s the office culture like at 24K Casino Affiliates? As I am working remote right now the office culture at my office is great, just me, myself and I. But we got our headquarters in Madrid, where I will join in (early 2020), when we are hiring more people because I must be there to manage the office and the employees. Most importantly for me in an office is that people are positive, have good energy and are happy. It needs to be fun to go to work or else people will not be motivated enough to make magic. If you could go anywhere on vacation, where would you go? I would choose Nashville, Tennessee. I can totally see myself strolling around bars there and listening to great country music all day long with a cold beer in my hand. That sounds like paradise to me. What are your hobbies? What takes up most of your time when you’re not working? I just love boats and being out at sea. If I could I would do it daily all year round, but up here in the north it isn’t possible. I do put lots of hours at work daily, but I always try to get myself to the gym and if there are some good football games on TV (preferable IFK Gothenburg or Manchester United) the work needs to step away for a few hours. And, of course, I spend a lot of time with family and beloved ones. What was the last book you read? I rarely take my time to actually read books anymore, which is sad because it’s a great way of relaxing and to just be in the moment. I mostly listen to audiobooks while walking. But the last books I read were probably the series about Christo- pher Silfverbielke by Buthler & Öhrlund. Great Swedish books with a sick twist. A must-read. What’s your favorite movie? Braveheart , for sure. FREEEEE- DOM! Or Christmas movies, I just love those! If you could have dinner with three people, living or dead, who would they be? My dad, Zlatan Ibrahimovic ´ and Otis Redding. Name one thing that people reading this magazine don’t know about you. It would be that I used to work as a sailor when I was very young. It is a very special feeling to be out on the open ocean in the middle of nowhere with no land or boats in sight. I just love spending time at the sea, it gives me some kind of calm. AFFILIATE MANAGER INTERVIEW SERIES Johan Syrén I just love the atmosphere in this business . Everyone is super friendly and kind . And of course, a bit crazy ! But that is what makes it so fun and interesting . G P W A t i m e s . o r g 70
