My take on this is that casino players prefer pure casino brands, not sports brands that also have casino. “ Reply With Quote #10 BettingBoss 23 March 2020, 9:15 p.m. Private Member I have all but let my sports site go. I have numerous casino sites ready to be worked on, but it’s a tough market and I’m thinking work- ing for casino affiliates might be more profit- able than spending money on my own site. “ Reply With Quote #8 rknuppel 19 March 2020, 7:53 a.m. Private Member I don’t know that we all have to MOVE our sports content completely over to casino. I think you can do a number of things to relieve this slow/no sports period. • Take this time to build some long term ev- ergreen sports betting articles. Strategy, reviews, guides, etc... Things that aren’t event and time related. • Spend some time auditing your old con- tent and cleaning it up. As sports people, we oftentimes are running 24x7x365 to keep up with the next game. Now we have a break, improve the content and SEO of what you have. • Move into another niche. As mentioned above, casino is always a good space that isn’t going away anytime soon. I personally think esports is a great vertical that is going to continue to grow in popularity. But I’m also a bit concerned about “how to mone- tize” it from an affiliate side of things. “ Reply With Quote 17 G P W A t i m e s . o r g
