When people want to bet, they will find the most common assets or parts. If I am 50-year-old man who bets pre-match or live on football, I will never-ever taste esports, but will do so with virtuals. I cannot see the video game industry stop- ping allowing participation, sponsorship or turning “pro” based on age. If a 14 or 15 year old is good enough, they will continue to com- pete, and should be able to. But I can see the betting industry in regulated markets taking a stance against betting for or against esports if it does involve minors. Would you reasonably assume that bookies should start carrying action on high school football (not withstanding any private betting already taking place)? What about betting on Pee Wee sports?
