AFFILIATE MANAGER INTERVIEW SERIES Chris Crosby Spinwise Please tell us a little bit about yourself. Where are you from and where did you grow up? I was born in Riga, Latvia. Have lived there all my life. I used to play football when I was a teenager. It was a total of 10 years, but with a local football club. Then when I turned 18, I made a decision that I wanted to study instead. In my student years, I lived in Cyprus for three seasons. That was a good experience and that is when I realized I love working with people and that I wanted to continue doing that. I still love football and sports in particular. How did you get your start in the iGaming industry? My professional career started outside of the iGaming industry. I started in the hospitality area in my student years and worked in different areas, mainly hotels. After finishing my studies and a few other projects, I got a job offer to work with the guys behind Spinwise. Of course, back then we were a small team — a couple of people — but I liked the whole idea and the vision of the company, so I joined them and that was the best choice I have ever made in my life (don’t tell this to my wife, though).
