What is your typical day like as an affiliate manager with Spinwise? I don’t really have one since, as you know, no two days are the same in this industry, but my day at the office starts with a cup of tea (I have never drunk a cup of coffee in my life) and going through all the emails and messages. After that, I check all the ongoing tasks and, of course, affiliate performance, what has changed over the night. And then, depending on the monthly/quarterly tasks, do the things that need to be done. What do you enjoy most about your job and, more specifically, working in the iGaming affiliate industry? I mentioned before that I love working with other people, so conferences are the best in iGaming when you get to meet people in person, face to face. Also, the whole pandemic situation made me value the time when people can meet, have a drink, talk, and laugh. I would say that is my favorite part of the industry, even though those conferences are quite exhausting. I also enjoy working for Spinwise. The management is constantly looking after us, and the working environment they have created is simply outstanding! What do you know about the iGaming affiliate industry now that you wish you knew when you just got started? That you don’t have a day off, ever! All the other jobs I had before were typical 9-17 jobs. You finish your shift and that’s it, but in the iGaming world, you work every minute while your eyes are open. The affiliates/managements/colleagues can need anything from you at any time of the day. Now, I have got used to it, no problem at all, but before I started, I wish I would have known it, perhaps I wouldn’t have taken the offer . . . Not! In July, Spinwise introduced a “new identity,” with the mantra, “It’s time to take fun more seriously.” Please tell us more about this and how it reflects the Spinwise brand. Well, that’s something that has been brewing for quite some time. This industry is an entertainment industry, so reflecting current trends, we positioned ourselves as the mantra says. It is time to take fun more seriously, it’s a crucial part of everybody’s life. The Spinwise portfolio includes multiple casino brands. Please tell us how each one is unique and how they complement each other. What makes each brand attractive to both players and affiliates? Our oldest brand is Casoo. It has a unique design and really fits a wide player audience—loads of bonuses, a loyalty program, fast and various payments, all the most popular games and even more. After Casoo we created Tsars, a more modern and even faster casino with lightning-fast withdrawals and a lot of bonuses, as well. All of this combined made a one-of-a-kind product that actually won the AskGamblers award as “Player’s Choice” this year. After that, we moved to another project that was quite challenging to build, but I think we made it pretty clear that the guys behind all of this know what they are doing. Winnerz and Wisho came along and these are our newest casinos. These are Pay’n’ Play casinos, so again a different story compared to Casoo and Tsars. I love working with other people, so conferences are the best in iGaming when you get to meet people in person, face to face . . . The whole pandemic situation made me value the time when people can meet, have a drink, talk, and laugh . . . That is my favorite part of the industry, even though those conferences are quite exhausting. 65 G P W A t i m e s . o r g
