The problem was recognition. V.Partners needed its own personality, and it needed to be a brand people recognized on sight. We rebuilt that completely. Today we have a strong visual identity, our signature orange has become a recognizable part of the brand, and there is a clear marketing strategy behind everything we do. The achievement I’m proudest of is that you don’t always need to see the logo to know something belongs to us. Sometimes the color, the energy and the visual language are enough. V.Partners turned 10 this year, with seven in-house brands, a presence in more than 35 countries and over 3,500 partners. What has changed most about what affiliates expect from a program over that decade? This industry moves quickly, so longevity itself has become valuable. Affiliates want performance, of course, but they also want to know who they are working with and whether the relationship can last. Long-term partnership has always mattered to us. That means being open with partners, communicating honestly and being able to discuss the problems as well as the wins. If something isn’t working, you have to be able to sit down, talk it through and find a solution together. When partners see that you’re interested in building something long term rather than chasing short-term numbers, the relationship changes. Some of our partnerships go back almost 10 years, to the very beginning of the company, and that says more about a program than any marketing slogan. V.Partners recently removed the caps on Tier 1 and Tier 2 traffic. What prompted that? We have worked with Tier 1 and Tier 2 markets for a long time and we have built real expertise across different GEOs and traffic sources. At a certain point, limiting partners who already know how to deliver quality traffic stopped making sense. If both sides are seeing strong results and there is room to scale, we want partners to be free to do exactly that. So we took the caps off Tier 1 and Tier 2 GEOs. The idea is straightforward: if you have quality traffic and the numbers work, a cap shouldn’t be the thing that stops your growth. 65 GPWAtimes.org
