GPWA members are urged to work together to "actively & systematically" eradicate search engine spam. As our member AussieDave writes:
Over the years I’m sure we can all attest to the increase in SE Spam. Be this black hatting or blog Spam, neither one is less destructive than the other. However, combined, these parasites have not only placed a dark cloud over the reputations of honest webmasters, but have also been responsible for loss of income derived from scrapping or otherwise stealing content from legitimate, hard working webmasters... Trying to fight this battle alone although commendable, is a losing task.. There are simply too many rogue webmasters, blog spammers and black hatters for one person to contend with. However… we are the GPWA, we have the numbers to make a profound difference!
