U.S. likely to ignore WTO ruling
The World Trade Organization ruled against the United States last week in its gambling trade dispute with Antigua. The decision says allowing Americans to make interstate bets on horse races over the phone or on the Internet with American racebooks while denying foreign racebooks equal access violates free trade agreements. The U.S. has until May 30 to comply, but is widely expected to ignore the ruling.

Question-of-the-week
How does your March 2007 revenue compare with your September 2006 revenue?
In an effort to track the impact of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act, we've been asking this question each month since the law has been passed. The question is especially pertinent now because March is the second full month that reflects the impact of NETeller's withdrawal from the U.S. market. Starting in May, we'll change things up a bit and ask you to compare revenue over the past two months. View poll
