GPWA Times magazine launched!
GPWA Times MagazineThe inaugural edition of the new GPWA Times Magazine is being distributed at the Casino Affiliate Convention this week in Amsterdam. The magazine profiles 16 of the best affiliate managers in the industry- including everything from background information to program details.

In this edition, we also introduce you to Betfred founder Fred Done, share tips on how to become a super affiliate, discuss the importance of forums, profile GPWA-member mojo, and take a closer look at the news. To subscribe to the GPWA Times Magazine, just click on the "User Control Panel" option under the "Forums" menu bar navigation item. Then select Edit Profile. If you fill in your mailing address information, which will be kept private, we will mail you the magazine for free!

Yahoo! ready to rumble
Yahoo! UK & Ireland launched its first attempt at real-money poker, coupling the power of 20.7 million unique visitors per month with a trusted brand to attract customers in countries friendly to online gambling.

IGREA winners and losers
Rep. Barney Frank's (D-Mass.) proposal to regulate Internet gambling in the U.S. has received a mixed reviews from the online gambling industry. Casino City reporter Aaron Todd reviews the winners and losers if the bill was passed.

CAP Barcelona in October
Following the huge success of CAP Euro in London, CAP organizers have announced a follow-up event to take place in Barcelona immediately following the EIG - Europe's leading iGaming event. The three-day event runs from Oct. 5-7.

888.com ready for takeoff

Internet gambling still illegal in Washington
Reports that the Washington State legislative branches have passed a bill amending the state's anti-online gaming laws are false. Misleading reports stemmed from a clerical error that posted results for a passed motor-vehicle licensing bill.

Seed Capital delays YouTeller.com launch
Seed Capital decided to delay the launch of their new payment processor YouTeller.com until its trademark dispute with NETeller is resolved. If Seed Capital cannot clear the legal situation, they plan to introduce a new brand in 2008.

Negreanu may cut ties with Full Contact Poker
Daniel Negreanu, one-time owner and long-time front man for Full Contact Poker, is seeking other endorsement opportunities now that his FCP contract is about to expire, his public relations company said.

Everest Poker goes Finnish
Everest Poker announced last week that their poker software was adding support for the Finnish language. Everest officials said the dynamic markets of Finland represent a natural progression for their software company.
