GPWA Member Ace Jones Wins ASOP
Ace Jones Wins ASOPThe GPWA's own Ace Jones (Dennis Brown of Rounder's Radio fame) was the winner of the Affiliate Series of Poker (ASOP) held at CAP Spring Break 2007. The winning hand was two pair (eights and twos) with an ace kicker. Ace Jones survived a minefield of tough players and tough Bahamian gaming-control officials to take home $5,000 and an ASOP diamond bracelet. Congratulations Ace Jones!

CAP Spring Break a winner!
GPWA Executive Director Michael Corfman proclaims this year's CAP Spring Break a winner. Between the interesting lectures, panel discussions and networking time spent on the Caribbean seas, the event kept Michael busy. While fishing, one guy caught a 200-pound marlin and two others caught ferocious looking barracudas. As for Michael, well, at least he caught something.
