Deadline for $5,000 slot tournament extended!
Green DragonIf you haven't already joined the emerald green dragons and mighty knights of the GPWA in their quest to slay CAP at the slots, hurry up. ReferBack has extended the registration deadline for the epic Battle of the Forums to early Thursday morning (3 a.m. ET, 8 a.m. London-time) Thursday, Sept. 20. There are 40 possible prizes to be divided up among the field for this FREE tournament. And the top prize for each of the two rounds is $1,000. Register thyself immediately for the tournament so you too can join the battlefield Thursday to earn cash while smiting CAP.

First Global Player GPWA Freeroll set for Friday
Registration is still open for Friday's GPWA Freeroll hosted by Global Player. The first tournament in the series is Friday and the prize for each tournament is $100 and an entry into Global Player's weekly $100,000 freeroll.

Barney FrankFrank: Bet bill stalled
Rep. Barney Frank acknowledged last week his bill to overturn the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act has stalled, but said pressure from foreign countries could revive the legislation.

Study: Problem gambling in check for British
A gambling study will demonstrate the British casino industry has taken a proactive and socially responsible role in dealing with problem gambling, the new chief executive officer of London Clubs International said Friday. The study by academics in the U.K. hopes to establish a baseline on the rate of gambling and problem gambling in the region.

Slots survey challenges stereotypes
Most online slots players aren't playing for pennies, a Slotland.com survey has found. The majority of players said the highest they ever bet was $50 - $100 and they occasionally or almost always like to place a maximum bet. Most players said their biggest win was $1,000.

PlayersOnly.com sending players to WPT event
PlayersOnly.com is sending tournament winners to Niagara Falls for the WPT North American Poker Championship. The last in a month-long series of super satellites is Sunday.

T.J. Cloutier joins PSO

I am going to throw this one out here. My traffic is increasing steadily and is up to 150+ uniques per day. My targeted keywords are being met and have some decent ranking, yet the conversions are not what I am expecting. I know that the traffic I have is not overly huge yet but I am expecting more than what I am receiving as far as sign-ups. read more
