Affiliate Program Manager directory enhancements
Last week we announced some significant improvements in the way we organize information about the affiliate programs involved with the GPWA. Today, we're pleased to announce some improvements to the GPWA site based on our new architecture. Member detail pages for affiliate managers and other GPWA members associated with affiliate programs now display new information including the manager's actual name, links to the program's GPWA details page and links to find out more information about the manager.

Honoring September's active members
The GPWA is happy to announce our 21 most-active members for September. As was the case in previous months, we are showing our appreciation to these members by linking to their sites from our home page. We're giving an extra special thanks to Matted, one of our most-active posters during the month of September. His site is being shown on the home page for the month of October as the featured site.

Recognizing September's active affiliate managers
The GPWA is pleased to recognize our five most active affiliate managers in September. We're giving an extra special thanks to Carlo, the most-active affiliate program representative during the month. He will be the featured affiliate program representative on the GPWA home page for the month of October. As usual, we are going to recognize all of our most-active managers by featuring them on the GPWA home page with links to their affiliate program pages.

U.S. releases proposed UIGEA regulations
American banks and credit card companies will only have to find ways to block certain kinds of gambling transactions, according to a report from Reuters. Most check and ACH transactions are considered exempt under the draft proposal.

France steps away from online gambling battle
France is preparing to agree to a partial liberalization of its state-run betting monopolies and said that it is willing to legalize internet gambling on horse racing and football, according to a U.K. Times report.

Everest Poker wins two eGaming awards
Everest Poker was the toast of this year's eGaming Review Awards held last week in London, winning both Hot Shot Operator of the Year and Poker Operator of the Year.

Boss Media, CelebPoker convert to euros
Starting this week, deposits and withdrawals at CelebPoker will only be processed in euros. Poker tables within the software will still offer a variety of currencies.
