Virtual CAC Conference set for Thursday
The first virtual conference for the gaming industry is being held on Thursday, March 27th. The Virtual Casino Affiliate Convention will be online at VirtualAffiliateConvention.com from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. EST. The GPWA, as an exhibitor at the Casino Affiliate Convention in Amsterdam next week, will also be participating in this virtual conference. We will post details of the conference, and our participation, in this thread as the virtual conference unfolds.

Casino Rewards adds six new casinos
CasinoRewards.com has taken six new casinos under its wing. The casinos opened this week and player account balances will be transferred to the Casino Rewards network.

Antigua threatens piracy if settlement is ignored
The government of Antigua says it will abolish intellectual property treaties with the U.S. by the end of March if a settlement involving a trade dispute between the two countries over Internet gambling is not resolved. In December, the WTO ruled that Antigua was entitled to $21 million and granted permission to lift IP protections to collect the damages.

GamCare, eCOGRA train online casino managers
Nearly 40 online casino managers were schooled on the principles of responsible gambling and how to identify and handle problem gamblers in London last week at a two-day training course, which featured lectures, case history studies and interactive training exercises.

Sweden halts prosecutions of gambling advertising
The nation's Prosecution Authority announced last week that it will not indict two prominent newspapers that accepted advertising from online gambling providers. The decision follows an appeal by the newspapers after they had been found guilty of violating Sweden's lottery laws last year.
