GPWA Cocktail Party rocks!
Nearly 150 people RSVP'd on Facebook to say they would attend the GPWA cocktail party at CAC in Amsterdam last week and judging from the crowd it seemed like everyone came and more. We'd like to give a great big thanks to AffiliateClub.com and Wager Junction and their affiliate managers and GPWA liaisons Claire Leighton and Greg Gomez for sponsoring the party. GPWA Facebook plan overview
The GPWA is nearly finished creating its first application designed to provide a significant opportunity for webmasters to easily earn additional affiliate revenue through social networks. Casino City Managing Editor Vin Narayanan weighs in on the U.S. House Finance Committee's hearing that took place last week and explains that while the UIGEA regulations are poorly constructed and nearly impossible to enforce, the bill has not been killed.

Dutch online gambling bill shot down
A bill that would have allowed state-owned casino operator Holland Casino to open a gambling site on a trial basis was defeated by the Upper House of Parliament last week.

888.com reports solid 2007 numbers
888, which runs Pacific Poker, reported a full year pretax profit of $46 million, with net gaming revenue from its casino games sites up 33 percent.

My initial assumption just looking at it was that clicking on the banner would take me to the site. I didn't realize I could actually 'play' with it.
