GPWA Conference set for Thursday in London
This is a last-minute reminder that the GPWA Conference in London begins Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Cafe Royal in Picadilly Square. The conference sessions will end at 5 p.m. and then we will begin our cocktail party, which is sponsored by Intertops and PKR. We look forward to seeing you there!

Recognition for October's most-active members
The GPWA is happy to announce our 20 most-active members for October. We're giving an extra special thanks to T3ddyBlair, one of our most active posters during the month of October. His site is being shown on the home page for the month of November as the featured site.

Recognizing October's active affiliate managers
The GPWA is pleased to recognize our five most-active affiliate managers in October. We're giving an extra thanks to Stuart of Affiliate Lounge, one of the most active affiliate program representatives in October and new to the list this month. He will be the featured affiliate program representative on the GPWA home page for the month of November.

Vegas Affiliates announces block of U.S. players
Beginning Nov. 20, Vegas Affiliates and its six online casinos will no longer accept players from the U.S. Existing U.S. players will be allowed to continue to operate their accounts and U.S. affiliates will also still be accepted.

Microgaming begins blocking Kentucky residents
The software company's network of sites has started blocking IP addresses belonging to Kentucky residents in reaction to an Oct. 15 decision by a Kentucky judge.

Caribbean gambling sites allowed to advertise in U.K.
Gambling sites based in Antigua and Barbuda will be allowed to advertise in the U.K. beginning Nov. 20 after the Caribbean nation strengthened its regulation of the industry.
