 Improvement to affiliate program forumsThe forums for sponsor affiliate programs have been restricted to private GPWA members for many years. But we have decided to change this and create public forums for affiliate programs. Each affiliate program forum will also continue to have a private subforum. The first forum we have transformed is Wager Profits'. Follow this thread to view the new and improved forum with both public and private sections as well as our rationale for making these changes. Over 500 members have joined the GPWA on LinkedIn We have passed a new milestone here at the GPWA. We now have more than 500 members in our LinkedIn group! And besides the 500-plus members on LinkedIn, we now have over 1,100 members on Facebook. That's a lot of members who have joined us in the world of social networking! Recognition for February's most-active members The GPWA is happy to announce our 25 most-active members for February. We're giving an extra special thanks to Universal4, one of the most active posters during the month of February. His site is being shown on the home page for the month of March as the featured site. Recognizing February's active affiliate managers The GPWA is pleased to recognize our five most-active affiliate managers for February. We're giving an extra special thanks to Shaun from Wager Profits, the most active affiliate program representative during the month of February. He will be the featured affiliate program representative on the GPWA home page for the month of March. Everest Gaming obtains Malta gaming license Multilingual online gaming operator Everest Gaming announced last week that it has obtained a remote gaming license delivered by the European jurisdiction of Malta. Online gamblers being rejected for mortgages The Independent Mortgages Advisers Federation says Irish banks now regard online betting "very negatively" and are using it against prospective mortgage applicants. 888.com accepting PayPal payments The online gaming company has added the popular payment method for all 888.com accounts. Play United moves to Playtech Earn United Affiliate Program and its casino, Play United, have joined the Playtech casino platform. Titan Casino ready for business The creators of popular poker room TitanPoker.com have launched Titan Casino, which is powered by Playtech. Income Access network upgrade complete Version 4.0 of the Income Access affiliate software features a new interface and a new array of marketing tools. All Slots adds five new games The online slots casino has added five new games, including one offering unlimited free spins in its bonus round. Buzzluck.com goes into beta The new online casino promises to provide on-site entertainment above and beyond simple casino games. U.S. could reap billions from online gambling A study by PricewaterhouseCoopers said that the U.S. could raise $52 billion in revenue over the next decade by legalizing and taxing online gaming.   March 4-5, 2009Bet Markets 2009 (Vienna) The only conference focused on sportsbooks takes place this March in Austria and features 35 industry leaders addressing a wide variety of issues.
