In an effort to give affiliates more of this kind of data, we're adding new information to these individual affiliate program pages, including links to recent threads about the affiliate program, news stories about the program and recent payments received by affiliates from the program. For more information about these changes, follow this thread.

Inbound links to a Web site are an important factor used by search engines to determine how high a page ranks in search results. Many webmasters pay other sites for inbound links because of that fact. What about you? Do you currently have any paid links to your sites? If you have paid for inbound links, how many current links do you have on that basis? View poll

New MessageGoogle and nofollow ...
greekhand writes:
I doubt Google can ignore the links with 'nofollow' even though it says that the percentage of links with nofollow is very small.. This is why: We all know how big Wikipedia is and we all know how hard is to put your links there and make them stay. If you were Google would you ignore that important information? If I were a search engine and I saw a link to page 'x' from a related page at Wikipedia, I would assume that this page was quality content and relevant. But Google says that it ignores it and won't pass any juice...That gives Yahoo and MSN and other search engines an advantage...I don't think Google, as big as it is, can ignore links with 'nofollow.'  read more
