Gary Kaplan, who faced 20 felony charges for his role in operating BetOnSports, will be sentenced to between 41 and 51 months in prison and forfeit $43.65 million. CryptoLogic licenses betting games to Ladbrokes CryptoLogic will provide three games -- Bejeweled, Cubis and Jenga -- to the Ladbrokesgames.com Web site. PokerStrategy.com to use Income Access software The online free professional poker school will use the Income Access software to power its affiliate network. RummyRoyal adds another popular game RummyRoyal added Rummy 500 to its lineup this week. The game is frequently played in the U.S., Canada and Germany. Tangra Poker launches affiliate program The new program is powered by Income Access software and offers a three-tier commission structure. New scratch card sites for NeoGames NeoGames has collaborated with Nordic Entertainment to create a fully managed online scratch card operation. Domain trading on BAC agenda The Budapest Affiliate Conference, scheduled for Sept. 11-12, will have a live auction of premium domain names. It will also be possible to place bids online, by telephone or by leaving absentee bids with the auctioneer. Casino Plex releases new suite of games The online casino is introducing 11 new games, including eight video slot machines, two classic slots and a brand new arcade game called Fortune Keno. The Virtual Casino introduces new affiliate program The online casino's newest affiliate program, Refercasino.com, will offer affiliates lifetime revenue shares with no negative carryover. What do you think of caffeinated versus decaffeinated Google?
Google announced last week that it will be rolling out a new search algorithm code named "caffeine." The current search algorithm on Google has been dubbed "decaffeinated." So, for this week's poll we thought it was worth asking GPWA webmasters if they have tried the new Google search algorithm, and if they have, whether they like the results of the new incarnation better or worse than the existing decaffeinated algorithm? Does anyone know of a bulk rank-checking tool (preferably free)? I know SEOmoz provides a rank checker in their pro subscription, but you have to input your keywords one-by-one. I have an Excel file where I store my long-tail keyword analysis, and would like to check my URL's rankings in Google for these terms. As you can imagine, checking them one-by-one would be an inefficient use of time, so if there's anything that will allow me to bulk upload a .csv then allow it to run through the results, that would be great! Any help is appreciated! read more
