 Join the GPWA and APCW at G2EG2E in Las Vegas on Nov. 15-18 will be the place to be for the iGaming industry next month. Most affiliates will want access to the G2E exhibit hall, which includes iGaming Pavillion exhibitors as well as hundreds of land-based gaming industry vendors. Access is free as long as you register in advance by Oct. 28. The GPWA and APCW will be there and we hope to see you too. Follow this thread for more details.  Expect more poker rooms to leave WashingtonPokerStars announced last week that it would block residents of the state of Washington from real-money games. The GPWA's Aarod Todd says to expect more online poker rooms to do the same. iGaming Super Show moving to Dublin The conference will be held in May 2011 and delegates can attend Calvin Ayre's 50th birthday party for free. Perspectives Weekly talks American hypocrisy J. Todd looks at the "changing stance" of American casinos toward Internet gambling and discusses tough talk from Europe about American political hypocrisies. Wynn softens stance on iGaming According to The New York Times, Wynn Resorts changed its stance on online gambling from "never" to a softer "we'll see." StanJames.com sponsors the Champion Hurdle StanJames.com has announced a major five-year sponsorship agreement with The Jockey Club. Market-ace launches casino affiliate program Market-ace is now launching its first-ever casino affiliate program, Caesars Casino Online, which offers 50 percent rev share for October and November. William Hill reaches deal with iovation William Hill has adopted iovation's Reputation Manager 360 as part of its overall fraud prevention strategy. NFL fever grips Intertops family of sites The Intertops casino, poker room and sportsbook have NFL-themed tournaments, promotions and games. GTECH G2 partners with Income Access GTECH G2 has partnered with Income Access to provide casino and bingo software licensees the opportunity to join the G2 Affiliate Network. Noubet launches affiliate program The Noubet Affiliate Program has launched with Income Access and is offering affiliates up to 45 percent in revenue share. Virgin Poker hosting major freeroll Virgin Poker is inviting new players to a 25,000 euro multi-table tournament freeroll on Nov. 25. NeoGames certified by McAfee SECURE NeoGames is one of the first companies in the online gambling industry to be certified by McAfee SECURE. ComeOn.com launches affiliate program ComeOn.com's new affiliate program is called /earn and uses NetRefer reporting tools.   October 19 - 21European iGaming Congress & Expo (Copenhagen) EiG attracts attendees in all areas of iGaming, from the most senior management to specialists in areas as diverse as law, regulation, finance, marketing, business development, fraud, payments and IT.  November 15 - 18G2E (Las Vegas) This year's largest gaming show features a special all-new iGaming Congress, a one and a half day conference that will address the potential impact of Internet gambling regulations in the U.S., and advise the gaming market on how to react to the changing face of the industry and take advantage of new opportunities. |

There is finally a real conference and exhibition in the U.S. that includes an iGaming focus at G2E in Las Vegas in November. Early indications are that this event will see the largest gathering in the States of folks interested in iGaming in a very long time. So, for this week's poll, we thought it would be interesting to ask how many folks plan to be in Las Vegas for the conference. The GPWA and APCW will be there, and we hope to see a lot of affilates there as well. I think that product development is fantastic and I give kudos to SuperCasino for bringing live games to even more users. They are help creating a "live casino" market that's positive for everyone, even our program. The only issue or concern I have is that the app is available on iTunes and not through affiliates. Affiliates are effectively taken out of the equation in the revenue stream. This could lead many operators to develop apps due to this reason alone. read more
