GPWA software upgrade and planned outage
This Saturday, Jan. 15, starting at 7-8 am EST, we will begin the migration of the GPWA forums from vBulletin version 3.7 to vBulletin version 4.0. This is a major upgrade and we anticipate it will take a minimum of eight hours to complete. The approach we are taking means that during the migration itself the forums will be usable on a read-only basis, so it should still be possible to browse the forums. Recognition for 2010's Most Active Members For more than four years we have been recognizing members monthly for their participation in the GPWA forums. Now that 2011 has begun, we are honoring our 35 most-active forum members of 2010, led by universal4. His site will be shown on the GPWA home page for the next month as the featured member site of the year. Most Active Affiliate Program Representatives We're also acknowledging this month the most-active affiliate program representatives from 2010. For the fourth straight year, Renee from Rewards Affiliates leads the list of our 10 most-active affiliate program representatives. She will be listed as the featured affiliate program representative of the year on the GPWA home page for the next month. First annual GPWA member survey a success! We are pleased to report that participation in our first survey was even better than we expected! In all, 245 people responded to the survey. We noticed some interesting differences between the answers given by affiliates compared to the answers given by affiliate managers, and you'll see some of them in the next issue of the GPWA Times Magazine. And congratulations to jvtelemark, who won the prize drawing we held for those who participated in the survey! N.J.
