 Calvin Ayre indicted, Bodog.com domain seizedBodog founder Calvin Ayre has been indicted by federal prosecutors and the Bodog.com domain has been seized by the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland. Black Friday defendant pleads guilty Ryan Lang is facing 30 years in prison for his role in deceiving banks in order to process hundreds of millions of dollars in Internet gambling transactions. Was the Calvin Ayre indictment a surprise to you?
Earlier this week, Bodog founder Calvin Ayre was indicted by federal prosecutors and the Bodog.com domain was seized by the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland. Unlike the Black Friday actions against a number of poker sites, these actions don't appear to have the same immediate effects. Bodog had long before changed the way it operated so that it no longer relied on the seized Bodog.com website. For this week's poll we thought it would be interesting to find out whether this was something you expected would happen, or whether it comes as a surprise.
