Do you evaluate the change to your traffic when a Google update is announced?
There have been many discussions about changes in Google's algorithms and the impact those changes have had on traffic to members' sites. The most recent discussion was about the "Penguin" or "webspam" update. When you learn there has been an update, do you monitor whether it has had an effect on your site? Do you carefully monitor the traffic to your site completely independently of whether you know there has been a Google update? And do you take any specific actions based on what you see?
