Question-of-the-week
Should affiliate cookies be overwriteable?
Affiliate credit is often based on cookie length and whether a cookie is overwriteable. If a cookie is overwritten, the player's computer will contain a cookie by the second affiliate that sends the visitor. If the cookie is not overwritten, the first affiliate to send the visitor gets credit for the sale until the cookie expires. How do you feel about promoting programs when the cookies are not overwriteable? View poll
