Scientific Games to buy Bally in $5.1 billion deal
The transaction is the second high-profile gaming industry merger in less than a month. In July, Italian lottery company GTECH said it was buying slot machine maker IGT for $6.4 billion. Last year, Scientific Games also bought WMS Industries for $1.5 billion.
