EU Court OKs consumer protection guidelines The EU Court of Justice has ruled that the European Commission acted within its rights by issuing guidelines to member states on how to protect consumers from online gambling services. Digitain strikes deal with Genii The casino platform provider will integrate content from the software gaming supplier, including Arcadia i3D. Pragmatic Play releases Lucky New Year online slot Players can celebrate the Year of the Dog with free spins, giant super symbols and a respin feature. How much financial support would you contribute to affiliate legal cases?
Dave Sawyer of OnlineCasinoRevewer.com stood up against AffiliateEdge when they closed his affiliate account and refused to pay approximately £5,000 in affiliate earnings to him. He took them to court in the U.K. in a case that was ultimately thrown out. As a result, he was held liable for £12,000 in costs claimed by Affiliate Edge. Would you be willing to budget a specific amount toward legal fights you and fellow affiliates agree deserve your support? If you are, what amount would you be comfortable budgeting, and agreeing to forward after-the-fact as reimbursement? I tried to resolve the problem, but the bookie didn't want to pay. We see a lot of casinos say that players can't place a bet more than X euros when they have a bonus active. So why don't they just prevent players from placing this kind of bet? read more
