 Following the government's introduction of tougher regulations on when gambling firms could broadcast ads on TV in March, gambling advertising in Australia soared 26% year-over-year compared to the 12 months previous to July 2018, with newspaper ads seeing a rise of 120%, according to AdNews.

Over the past few weeks we have been barraged with a new type of hacker extortion request. In our case, the subject line of the email was an ancient password we used to use on sites where security was not very important. We knew that we never used that password anymore, and we also knew that the claims were just plain false. So, for this weeks post, we ask if you have been pwned and received a similar email message.
