Michigan takes action against 11 illegal websites Authorities issued cease-and-desist letters to the illegal offshore gambling websites because they were offering unlicensed gambling services in direct violation of Michigan law.  Baltimore has sued Flutter (parent company of FanDuel) and DraftKings, alleging they intentionally used misleading sports-betting promotions targeting vulnerable individuals to boost profits. The city's legal representation indicated that additional companies could be named in future filings.
