Will Brazil's gambling ban have an economic impact on your business?
On 25 September, Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva issued a provisional measure prohibiting fixed-odds sports betting and online casino gaming throughout Brazil. The measure prohibits the operation, offering, intermediation and advertising of fixed-odds betting. It immediately prohibited new deposits, and licensed betting websites and apps are required to become unavailable beginning 6 October.
